here is another egg story. my knowledge about eggs is limited because i am not an “expert”of eggs. but since my wife's friend purchased an egg of 1000 yuan, my interest towards eggs seems to be increasing.
there are two types of eggs sold in chinese markets, namely “foreign eggs”(yang ji dan) and “rural eggs”(cao ji dan). the “foreign eggs”are cheaper than “rural eggs”because it's believed that “foreign eggs”are from those hens fed by unhealthy stuff. now i know there are another type of eggs besides the two, they are labeled by a brand, and these branded eggs are more expensive than “rural eggs”.
i find “green leaf eggs”,“sunrise eggs”, “good wife eggs”, etc. in the supermarket. and i asked what's the difference between the “branded eggs” and the “rural eggs”, the sales person replied, “branded eggs are from those hens fed by healthy stuff”!

i think i know where the next generation of eggs will come from. they will be called “premium eggs” and are from those hens fed by vitamin pills and served with a massage everyday!
