my wife loves kids and often hugs the 2-year old kid of our neighbor into our house to play with him. my reserved question to this little animal is, "what your dad is doing?", and everytime he answers, "papa gaogao" (papa is sleeping).
everytime i ask this question, the answer is always the same - "papa gaogao".
at first i think the kid doesn't get it or he just know how to say "papa gaogao", but after my wife confirms that "papa" does "gaogao" everytime the kid tells us so, i start to believe that we do have this type of living style in china today.

the sleeping "papa"'s father is a rich man who owns a construction firm and makes a lot of money, so the sleeping "papa" doesn't need to work in daytime and only gets up to drink with friends after 8 pm. sleeping "papa" is very young.
it takes japan more than 50 years to have lazy young people who don't like to work, and it only takes china 10 years to have such sleeping "papa". what a great speed!
