yesterday, the 7 year-old guo (girl in pink) and 9 year-old hu (boy in black) spent 8 hours to swim across the qiongzhou strait, which is between the mainland china and hainan island, and broke the guinness record.
the event seems to be a private party and attracts a lot of media, but the local government is not happy with it and says it should get the approval from the government for the sake of safety.
it's said the special dresses are prepared by their grandma. perhaps their grandma is a fan of spider movies?
