some people made comments on a previous post about india, just to clarify that raising the quesion doesn't mean i agree with their view points.

there are 3 reason why more and more chinese have a growing interest in india. first of all, india has speed up in recent years and is regarded as a potential "competitor" of china, secondly, some chinese could satisfy their sense of superiority by comparing india to china, since it's believed that india still lags behind china in some fields of the economy, and thirdly, perhaps with more influential impact on china's future, many start to ask serious questions as what china can learn from india's success and mistakes, and many of their questions are valid and enlightening, such as the one raised in that post and the one raised by professor Xiaokai Yang, who says india has avoided so-called "second mover disadvantage" by adopting a functioning democracy and will have a stronger momentum over time.
