via: Poll: China Image Scores Better Than U.S. , China's Haier considers Maytag bid , shanghaiist: just who is "hostile" here?
not surprisingly, i come to know this "important news" from many chinese media in just one day, and i expect more "in-depth analysis" on this "important news" in the coming days. but an equally important, if not more important, news is missing from the views of chinese people - the same poll says that japan has a better image than china in the world.
in a previous post, i questioned what drives chinese companies like Haier going aboard. now Haier takes another step towards its ambitious "internationalizatino", i only wish that Haier's eyes not clouded by other things like "national pride" or "we must enter Fortune 500 in XX years".
but looking across the pacific ocean, you will find that some americans are no better than chinese in distinguishing between business and non-business. foolishness makes different people look so similar.
