the author of this blog is spreading rumor or is a black humorist.

my previous post "why rumors about china so stubborn" confirms that the 300 death doll is not accurate and tries to analyze why the rumors about bird flu are so stubborn in western media.

here we have a blog called "bird flu monitor" cited my post in its latest entry as follows:

[Bingfeng Teahouse] Why rumors about China so stubborn?: Due to poorly organized surveillance and information sharing systems in many affected countries including China, it is reasonable to consider that more cases have occurred actually. We have heard many 'rumors' or unauthorized information which we cannot confirm.

and the title of the article is:

Expert Claim Bird Flu has Killed 300 in China

GOD forgive him, perhaps he just skip the lines before what he cited:

First of all, it is not correct. Therefore, I would ask you to correct it.

"按摩乳"(i.e. massage milk)by Wang Xiaofeng

wang xiaofeng, or nichnamed as "wearing 3 watches", is a chinese blogger who writes about entertainment. he himself is a journalist at sanlian life weekly, a top cultural magazine in china. he also represents the elite bloggers who are more like columnists.

danwei has translated a few pieces of his posts:

massage milk and the disaster of journalism in china

warning! this article contains sensitive words

wang is from beijing, a place with a strong tradition of humor and cynic. everybody who has spent some time in beijing (or northern china) will agree with me that the language and style of the Massage Milk blog has a very strong beijing characteristics and attract those who understand the cultural and share the same taste.

for many young people who come to realize that there are so many improvement opportunities in china, cynic or humor seems one of the best ways to criticize or get rid of the frustrations they encounter everyday.
