here was the conversation between me and "she" last night:

she: why it's so quiet?

me: really?  it's quiet?

she: yes, usually it's time for trucks from other provinces to enter shanghai, and should be pretty noisy out there on the streets.

me: ah, i think it's as noisy as usual, but ... let me see. (i observed traffic on the streets for a while) ... you are quite right, there are much less trucks and cars.

she: isn't it a little weird? at first i think it's because i eat too much tonight and my hearing ability become dumb.

me: (LOL) i don't know why, maybe ... oh, i see why, it's Ahmadinejad!

she: ahmadi what? is that the name of a tornado?

me: it's Shanghai Coop Organization.

she: how lovely ahamadi-what is. how long he will stay in shanghai?
