blocking Flickr images enraged chinese netizens. unlike previous censors, blocking Flickr images is reegarded as a direct and violent meddling of many people's personal life, and those affected can form public opinions or actions quickly and effectively with the help of internet.

people who made the decision of censoring flickr is stupid, with some common sense, it's not difficult to understand that blocking flickr images is fruitless and only risks waking the most dangeous group of people (in the eyes of the censors) in china.

it should be interesting to see what comes next

many chinglish fans sighed with regret that chinglish signs, menus, etc. were disappearing in beijing (and shanghai) as china worked hard to replace them with "standard" english in order to polish the image before the olymplics.

don't worry! take your camera and visit secondary cities, you will not be disappointed.
