Saw the movie Because of Winn-Dixie today. I am so impressed by Opal and her best friend Winn-Dixie. Life becomes much easier and the world becomes simple when you are ready and can't wait to share your joys as well as sorrows with others in or going to be in your life. You just love someone through and heartly when the one is there because you may not know when the one is to come or disappear. And most importantly you never easily give up.
Winn-Dixie reminds me of my losting two dogs and another dog I met on road.
For the two losting dogs, both of their names are Little Q, for the reason you can guess. Yes I unexpectly and painfully lost the first one and with the hope of filling his blank and the blank in my heart, I adopted a second little Q. While as it is said, you can't prevent what you can't predict. The second little Q was lost again shortly after she got used to her new family and started to like me due to some third party's fault, unexpectedly, again.
For the other dog I met on road, now I feel even more sorry because of Winn-Dixie.
Opal met Winn-Dixie accidentally when she was shopping in a superstore. I met the vagrom dog accidentally when I was on my way to shopping in a superstore.
Winn-Dixie was homeless at that time, and so was the vagrom dog I met. Winn-Dixie showed an unbelievable connection with Opal, and the vagrom dog followed me for miles after I first called him Puppy.
Winn-Dixie would never let hime left away from Opal, while the vagrom dog tried to catch me up without being afraid of the running cars in the street when I tried to cross the street as far as possible to leave him where he was.
The poor vagrom dog I missed.
What different is that Opal insisted on keeping Winn-Dixie and finally she did; I gave the poor vagrom up leaving him what he was again.
How I regret now that I hadn't tried to keep the poor vagrom dog and how I wonder where and how he is now. Has he made it going through this winter?
Oh Winn-Dixie, you reminds me so much up. And at this moment, I decided to name my new lovely bear as Winn-Dixie, to memorize so much I have had and being always willing to have.
